Underground Treasure Tour- Two Days
If the Earth’s surface is well known because of modern electronic systems, the depths of the Earth expects you to explore them. A third of the 12,000 caves in Romania is in Padurea Craiului Massif, in Apuseni Mountains.
The difficulty of the tour require minimum knowledge of climbing tehniques, a good physical training and speleological equipment that we will provide to you.

Padurea Craiului Massif is 100 km from Cluj and easily accessible.
For visiting the caves in the area, we are offering you a sightseeing tour of the area and a wonderful landscape.
You will be guided in two arranged caves by our specialized guides with over 20 years experience in exploring the Earth’s depths.
Alos, we will visit some unprepared caves which do not necessit special preparation.
The accommodation will be provided in Club Apuseni’s refuge located in the middle of the nature reserve (share beds and outside toilet). We will spend the evening at the campfire and we will cook food in caldron.

-Nature reseve Defileul Crisului Repede, famous for protected plant species and a lot of animals.
-Vadu Crisului Cave- arranged for tourists
-Ungurului Cave- arranged for tourists
-Karst Plateau Batranului- with caves, holes, dolines and springs
-Karst Plateau Ponoras with caves, holes, dolines and springs

Sighisoara- The Inhabited Citadell
Sighisoara is the only still inhabited citadel in Europe and the best preserved.
Inside the walls of the fortress the medieval architecture of the buildings will give you the impression that once you enter the citadel, you have stepped back 500 years.

Objectives
-Sighisoara -The tour will take you to the birthplace town of Vlad "Dracula" Tepes.
You will be surprised to see that the house of real “Dracula” is still standing and you can have a traditional Romanian meal in this house, that become a restaurant.
-Biertan- The town with monumental fortress was the residence of the bishop of the Lutheran Church of Transylvania for 300 years.
-The old Saxon Villages with traditional architecture
